For many years I have had the opportunity to build websites using their free options. I started with my own business; WWW.GotoJoesGarage.com. This one was done with the web company called Webs. Eventually, we wanted more exposure with the search engines and we decided to become a premium member. Unless you want to be on the first page of google then, I would advise upgrading your website. Otherwise you are just fine with the basic.
After I did this, I was part of a pray group that we were trying to expand. Even though it did not happen, I did get a lot of experience using the web company called Wix. The link is very long since I do not own domain to this site. The link is: http://madiearaujo.wixsite.com/servantsofjesus.
Then in the fall of 2014, I joined an ecumenical group The International Order of St. Luke’s. I was one of two, who were Catholic in this group. The enthusiasm we each brought with our different backgrounds really was something to rejoice about. This chapter was unique because it was not affiliated with any church making it open to all denominations. We were also the local chapter chosen to sponsor the 2015 National Conference in Charleston SC. I offered to participate in being a core team member for the registration committee. At the very first meeting I attended, I found out that the web committee was not really involved. They were too busy. So, I explained that even though I did not know anything about Weebly the web company they were using, I do have some experience in getting one up and running. If they would be patient with me while I learned it I thought I could do it. The access to this website is no longer available, but I was able to ask Dr. Mike the founder of this Charleston Citywide Chapter to write a letter of recommendation for me upon request. This conference was very successful.
As you can see, I have made this website madiearaujo.com using Weebly. Each web company has there own flare. Yet all are very similar in what they offer.
My personal reference…
I have a personal reference of my good friend and I am sure is yours too; Deacon Andre’ Guillet. That is an interesting story on how we meet.
